It will devastate it’s socio political development to the extent of stone ages.

Universities don’t discriminate but people do , governments do , politics do and societies do. A white discrimination that treats women and men discriminately. How ironic or pathetic is this , the world is built in the name of love , equity and justice but till today human are divided into man , woman and many more genders , races , ethnicities, and nationalities.

Since Taliban has taken over the Afghan government, women are facing acute circumstances in state. Many women have been victimised for voicing against this injustice and social crime. Yes crime , shutting woman into the four walls in the name of religion or anything is crime. Education is equally needed , demanded and necessary for man and woman. Since , This very basic right is denied, international community is condemning Taliban’s act of excluding woman from universities.

Despite all the fact and scenario it has huge drastic impacts on Afghanistan’s development and progress.

Social impact:

Unimaginable decrease in literacy rate. Half of the population may not be able to entertain higher education skills. Which will drastically annihilate the employment ratio as well. Uneducated population will not contribute in to the economic progress of the nation by letting itself mere a burden in economy. Shutting woman into four walls means shutting the doors of economic growth. When there will be unemployment in society it will eventually bring social decline by increasing the crime rate and injustice in the society. That would result in societal chaos and turmoil.

Political impacts:

Political development is hugely dominated by educated and well informed masses. World often misunderstands that women are not capable of politics. They are weak by nerves. But it is wrong. Woman participation in politics is really matters. It adds in the public opinion of masses. That would be the built one not the manufactured. As Noam Chomsky has quoted most of the public opinion is nothing but a manufactured consent.

Therefore , woman participation along with public opinion is necessary for the political participation untill woman are in politics, woman rights and their rights will be compromised. If a woman can be a teacher , caregiver , a clerk , a labour then why not a woman can be a leader ???? More beautifully it is a theory that woman are less corrupt and less manipulators. Therefore giving a chance to a woman is giving a chance to corruption free , well managed and well organised political system. As woman are capable of managing a family similarly they are capable of managing a great family which is their state.

Unfortunately, Afghanistan is exclusion of woman from universities is halting them from progressive participation in politics. Which will devastatingly impact Afghanistan’s political development and stability. Because for not only ruling but also to be ruled _
